Session I starts today

Hello everyone

The session I officially starts today. First round matches need to be reported by next Monday night, May 11th. Winners usually report the scores. All matches not done by then, will be disqualified and players will lose half of a point as a penalty. Hopefully we will have a high percentage of matches completed considering we have 2 weeks for this first round. If you plan to play on high school courts I would advise you to check their web site to make sure they don't have meets or practice that day.


I also wanted to let you know that we have a new feature on our web site. Like some of you already know , I added a forum/message board to our web page. The main purpose of this forum is to connect players looking to play practice matches. In the past , I had to send mass e mails whenever someone was looking for a practice partner. This forum should eliminate that , we will all be able to get there by clicking forum tab on our main site http://www.rochestertennisleague.webs.com/.

You will be able to post your message or reply to already existing one. The process is very simple you don't have to register , all you have to do is type your first name, subject and message. For example "I am available for a practice match on thursday at 7pm please e mail me if interested at ___ . "

A lot of players are looking to play more than just once a week, and hopefully this system will help them set up more matches. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
