Session two is coming up on Monday July 30h . I will be posting the schedule this week  so you have a couple of extra days to play round #1 .

Session I results will be moved to history page of our site where you can view past scores dating back to 2006 . Our singles league will continue with 72 players. We expanded to 9 divisions and no wild card has been set yet. We might get that going as well if enough players sign up late.

As expected,  doubles participation dropped down a bit for session II. We   have 4 teams in D1 and 4 in D2.

Awards
Eighteen  divisional champions  (12 in singles and 6 in doubles) will be getting gift cards awards .  Also, thanks for Gary Hach's donation top three D1 doubles teams will be getting medals.

Soldier's Field news

You might have read about this in Post Bulletin this Tuesday. It appears that a new proposal  for long term Soldier's field remodeling includes expanding number of tennis courts in the park. Who knows what might come out of this in the end  but it's encouraging to see this kind of development especially after seeing some of the plans they brought up in March.
