We are starting week #9 which is going to be final round of the session I. By next Monday all players will be ranked from 1st to 32nd place. I hope everyone is enjoying playing tennis this year. We are having a great session with not too many missed matches. I thank you all to your dedication to this league.
We are losing 7 people for the next session, but we have all openings pretty much covered. You might see some players being bumped up a level and some new players getting in different divisions. New players had some pre season matches to determine what level they would fit in the best.
I decided not to place all new players in the bottom division and bump everyone up. Instead we scheduled some matches to gage new players coming in, and see what division we want to place them in.
Session II starts next Monday, and I should have the schedule done later this week. Session II will have round robin format, and it will last for 7 weeks. We will have 4 divisions with 8 players in each. Players are divided according to their group standings in session I.
