Session II closing newsletter

Hello RTL members

We concluded another session of the 2014 season. I hope you had a lot of fun matches.

Thank you all for participating and doing your best to keep up with the schedule. Success of the league is measured by how many matches actually get played, so here are some session 2 stats.

Thanks to your  efforts and dedication   we managed to complete 88% of matches across all 3 RTL branches.

Women's singles league missed only 3 out of 84 matches and ended up with a fantastic 97% completion rate.    I love to see this kind of commitment and it's a great advertisement  for the RTL.

Doubles league has completed 89%  of matches  while  men's rate was little bit lower at 85%.  Most divisions did extremely well. For example,  divisions 4 and 7 completed every single match but on  the other side of the spectrum division 9 only played 54% (13 matches not played/not reported).   Number of matches missed is probably a bit inflated due to the fact that some people apparently  play matches but  they don't bother to report scores.
Playing more casually is perfectly fine but this can be done outside of RTL's setup.   So we will probably need to start suspending players   that show pattern of missing matches or not reporting them . They can still have access to our contact list  and schedule occasional matches without being obligated to keep up with schedule or report scores.
