Newsletter #13

We are half way through week #7. Session III (single match elimination tournament) is going to start right after this session ends (around August 23rd). Brackets will be set according to your session II results. All levels will come together again to compete in a classic single match elimination tournament. Only winners will be advancing to the next rounds. I will start the sign up for session III pretty soon. Since a lot of players will be done after first couple of rounds I plan to set up some one day doubles tournaments in September.


Wild card division notes

Dave B from the wild card group pulled out of the competition. Bob H was in it just to make it an even number so pulled out as well. So wild card group is down to 4 players now. I had to rearrange the schedule a bit for the reminder of this session. Tony is still out so his matches are open for subs. If any of you are interested in covering let me know.

Subs

Just wanted to remind you that players are encouraged to request a sub if they know they won't be able to play that week. I don't have many on the subs list but if you request it early enough we might find someone so your oppoenent still gets to play a match.


Forum

Doubles tournament
