Hello everyone

We are getting closer to the end of session I. The weather has caused a lot of problems setting up matches in the past two weeks. It made it even harder because for this tournament phase we have to determine who wins and who loses a match that wasn't completed so next round matches can be set. Aside from this, we had some injuries late in the season and our completion rate dropped down.

Session II sign up
Last Thursday was the sign up deadline for the next session which starts on Monday June 21st. We are losing 13 players for various reasons, injury, moving , etc. As you know we had 47 including the challenger league. We got 3 new players so far and I hope to get some more this week. Our top 3 divisions are almost filled , but we have good number of openings in the bottom division. Like I mentioned before, your session I rankings will determine what division you get to play in the second session.

So far the only exception that I made was with Nick R. He didn't qualify to play D1 due to missing couple of match (sick), but considering he won all 3 sessions last year and hasn't lost a match in this league yet, I gave him a wild card and put him in D1. This was also possible because Tony C who qualified to play D1 is dropping out.
Players from the Challenger league are filling openings according to their session I rankings as well. I have a group of 4 new players who are well above D4 level and I don't have spots from them all in top 3 divisions so I might create a separate group for them.



As of now we have 37 players in, I am working on the schedule for the next session and I should have it posted on the web site by Monday.

Cannon Falls Meet

Our latest attempt to play an interleague match versus FAT league failed due to bad weather past Saturday. The meet is rescheduled for June 26th (Saturday) at 10:30am. Keegan Hakala is going to organize our team for this event so e mail him if you might be interested in participating . Here is his email nageek4@hotmail.com
